Standard Hawley

Standard Hawley

The Standard Hawley Retainer uses ball clasps located mesial to the first molars. Any type of clasping can be used to suit your needs. Mandibular Hawley Retainers features an occlusal rest on the first molars made from .036 wire.

Hawley Retainer "C" Clasp with Embrassures

This Hawley Retainer is a great appliance to maintain your "Ideal Arch." Designed with a .032 flat bow and soldered "C" clasp of the distal omega extended to the bicuspid embrassures clasp on the lingual of the six year molars.

The Flat Adams Soldered is designed with .032 wire. The labial bow is flat from cuspid to cuspid and then soldered to adams clasp. This appliance is preferred when there is limited interproximal-occlusal space. It is also used in extraction cases to prevent wire from passing through the extraction site.

The Round Bow is designed with a round .030 wire. This appliance is preferred when there is limited interproximal-occlusal space. It is also used in extraction cases to prevent wire from passing through the extraction site.

The Flat Adams Soldered with Extensions extends a single flat wire to the first bicuspid. This wire extension helps to maintain placement of the 3's and add anterior retention.

The Circumferential Retainer with Crozats is similar to the Hawley design. The Circumferential retainer uses an .032 wire that continues along the posterior teeth. Crozat clasps are placed on the first year molars for retention.

3 to 3 Spring Clip

3 to 3 Spring Clip

The 3 to 3 Clip is ideal for cases when only retention of the anterior teeth is required. A continuous .028 wire is adapted to the labial and lingual surfaces from cuspid to cuspid.

A strip of clear acrylic is added to the labial surface and a strip of acrylic in any color you desire is added to the lingual surface.
